Alway Group Community and Sponsorship
Over the past years the Alway Group has taken pride in sponsoring a wide range of events and organisations both local and nationwide, below are just a selection of some of the sponsorships we have been involved in.
Ocean angels
In February 2009 we decided to sponsor the ocean angels on their challenge of rowing across the Indian Ocean as part of the Woodvale Indian Ocean rowing race. The 4 angels had set a task of rowing 3100 nautical miles across the Indian Ocean from Western Australia to Mauritius in a 29 foot rowing boat in order to raise £50,000 for breast cancer care. If successful they will become the first women ever to row across the Indian Ocean. While we hope that they never need it, our donation came in very useful and covered the cost of their full sized 4 man life raft. Banbury RFU

Banbury Irish AFC
Banbury Irish AFC is a team that we regularly support, the club was established 1993 and comprises of 5 junior teams. Our most current sponsorship to them helped to provide finance to replace a set of junior goalposts as well providing tracksuit tops for a squad of ten. www.banburyirishafc.co.uk
Camp Hill Rugby Football Club
We sponsor Chris Goddard of Camp Hill rugby football club £400.00, which helps assist with weekly subs and team promotions. Last year the team successfully won the Midlands West Division 3 and the North Midlands Shield and were consequently promoted to the Midlands West Division 2. www.chrfc.co.uk
Hellenic League Charity
Back in February 2007 we provided the Hellenic charity league with a £250 donation and use of our company’s football kit. The kit is also used by multiple charities for fundraising events both local and nationwide.
Parachute Jump
In 2001 some of our staff members took part in static line and sky dive parachute jumps at Hinton skydiving centre, in aid of Diabetes UK. The staff members managed to raise a total of £4619.68 for the charity which helped funding research, campaigning and helping people in the UK live with the condition. www.diabetes.org.uk
The Alway Group currently has offices in London, Banbury, Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Dublin, Epping and Sheffield with a team across the Group companies of approximately 50 individuals including permanent staff, freelance consultants and guest speakers.
